BONWELL RZ has comparable plant characteristics as Picowell RZ with CGMMV resistance. An open planttype, attractive appearance and, somewhat less vigor than Picowell RZ. Early in production. The crop is labour friendly. Fruits are appr. 15 cm long, with darkgreen fruit color. Fruits are straight, well shaped and have a little less fruit weight as PICOWELL RZ. Good shelf-life.

Resistant to CGMMV

Bonwell RZ is an early mini cucumber variety that produces good-quality fruits of 12-15 cm in length and an average weight of 85-120 grams. They have an attractive dark green colour and a nice shape. The plant has an open habit and is labour-friendly. Bonwell RZ has the BonDefense label, meaning it is highly resistant to cucumber green mottle mosaic virus (CGMMV). Besides a healthy crop, this also leads to a higher yield and better fruit quality compared to susceptible varieties. Bonwell RZ is suitable for indoor cultivation in glass greenhouses, including under artificial light.
